Our Equipment:
Our top of the line pressure washers operate up to 9 gallons per minute, while other typical models only reach up to 2-3 gallons per minute. Contrary to popular belief, gallons per minute (not PSI) is the determining factor for an effective cleaning. This high volume along with high temperatures ( up to 300 degrees) allows us to give you the best service without using high PSI that may damage your surface.
Who we are:
President (Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC) - Rich CunliffeÂ
The company was founded in 2001 by Rich Cunliffe. Rich began the company to assist with college expenses and initially only intended for it to be a temporary job and help transition himself into a career in business. It was quickly realized that this was an industry that lacked a brand name and desperately needed a quality company to fill the void his commercial customers were seeking. While attending the University of South Carolina's Moore School of Business and earning a B.S. degree in Finance, Rich became increasingly attracted to his growing company and developed a comprehensive plan to reshape the industry. A highly specialized company began to develop that was based upon a premium service, competitive pricing, high volume capabilities, and strong customer relationships. The plan really began to unfold when Rich teamed up with Matt Dukes.
President (Charleston) - Matt DukesÂ
Matt initially founded his Charleston based company "Under Pressure" in 2004. Rich had heard about some of the similar things Matt was doing in Charleston and the two developed a rapport. Matt had a vision for the future that was based upon customer development and a "company" approach. A mutual benefit was realized and Pressure Pros- Charleston was formed. Matt graduated from the Charleston Culinary Institute and has an extensive background in the restaurant industry. His family has been a strong presence in the restaurant business for some time and he has incorporated both industries into his growing career.
Vice President/ Business Development Manager - Richard R. CunliffeÂ
Previously he was the southeastern regional sales manager and business development manager for the German company Karcher, the largest pressure washing manufacturer in the world. Richard has obtained an extensive knowledge of pressure washers and is an authority on every aspect of the industry. He works with manufacturers and distributors to better the future of the trade. He introduced his son to the business at an early age and arranged for him to be mentored by some of the largest contract cleaners in the country. He is currently involved with this new product, consulting with the company, and establishing business in other areas. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and was in the first graduating class of the Masters in International Business program.
Director of Human Resources and Marketing - Shannon TisdaleÂ
A graduate from the University of South Carolina's Moore School of Business, Shannon earned a B.S. degree in Management of Human Resources and Marketing. She is essential to our HR, marketing, sales, and administrative duties. She also manages a number of our traveling accounts and operates our call center.
